WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE
My name is Mika Joniaux aka Mikaji born in Brussels, Belgium, currently living and working in Portugal .
My website is organised by different periods of my artistic development and is still under construction.
Under the “About me” section I wrote a synopsis of my adventures and progressions.
In the last 2 years, my painting took a turn from symbolic landscapes to figuration with a personal questioning of female sexuality and fantasies and a watercolour study on women’s body positive image made trough a série of intimate portraits.
I use watercolours, egg tempera and oil as mediums.
