My name is Mika Joniaux or Mikaji born in Brussels, Belgium, currently living and working in Portugal .
My website is organised by different periods of my artistic development and is still under construction.
Under the “About me” section I wrote a synopsis of my adventures and progressions
In the last 2 years, my painting took a turn from symbolic landscapes to figuration with a personal questioning of female sexuality and fantasies, theme that lead to the cancellation of my 2021 Portuguese local show .
I use egg tempera as a medium.
